Thefts from motor vehicles

Found this morning in the Brompton on Swale area is the below handbag.

We believe it may have been stolen overnight, potentially from a vehicle or outbuilding.

Unfortunately we have also had a report this morning of a vehicle that has been broken into overnight in Brompton on Swale. We have managed to recover the property stolen from the vehicle, with this now returned to the owner.

Please can we that you check your vehicles and outbuilding to ensure nothing has been damaged, entered or stolen. Please also make sure there has been no entry gained to your house.

We have arrested one person who we believe to be involved in the thefts, however we believe there may be another involved.

In order to identify the second person we are appealing for any information regarding the thefts, and would ask you to check any CCTV/dash cam/ring door bell footage that you may have.

We believe the thefts have occurred between the hours of 0200 hours and 0800 hours on Curteis Drive, Brompton on Swale.
